English Language Acquisition (ELA)

English Language Acquisition Classes

Columbia Basin College has a  English Language Acquisition academic program to help adult students learn and improve English so they can succeed in college, career training, and employment.

ELA is an academic program where students build strong English skills for school, work and everyday life. Students learn how to read, write, speak and understand English in ways that prepare them for college classes, job opportunities and career advancement.

Our instructors and staff support students every step of the way as they build their skills and prepare for their next goal.
