Career Services at CBC aims to provide you - at any stage of professional development - with essential career readiness skills. Empowering you to successfully navigate through your career journey is our goal! We are dedicated to supporting your career exploration and education.


Virtual one-on-one appointments are available via email and zoom meetings to review career related documents and discuss career topics. The following services are available for all CBC students:

Handshake for Employers

CBC is proud to partner with Handshake, a job board and event platform, that allows our community partners and employers to post jobs and attend recruiting event specifically for CBC students. By partnering with the number one ranked college-to-career network, CBC offers students a network with two to three times more job postings relevant to their field. With over 500K employers registered, students can use Handshake to discover employers and opportunities, apply for positions, register for events and attend virtual career fairs.

Hawk Career Readiness Program

The Hawk Career Readiness Program is a self-paced and self-directed online program that supports you at your professional development stage. The program focuses on preparing you to make informed career decisions, become job ready, and set educational and professional goals.

Based on the Career Readiness Core Competencies, the Canvas program consists of 10 modules that cover the full spectrum of career development. From the exploration stage to behaviors for success in the workplace, the program offers modules on a wide array of topics. Check back soon for details on the application process!

Through career assessment interpretations and career counseling appointments, our CBC Counselors are dedicated to guide you through your career exploration.
