High School Equivalency Program (HEP) Helps Kalid Continue His Education and Fulfill Career and Personal Goals

Kalid and his family came to the U.S. as refugees. As the oldest of eight siblings, he wanted to earn his GED and continue his education to be an excellent example for his brothers and sisters. Not only did he complete his GED through CBC’s High School Equivalency Program (HEP), he went on to complete his AA too and is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. New Student Recreation Center Coming 2022

CBC’s new Student Recreation Center will provide a state-of-the-art venue for fitness and athletics. The 80,000 square feet facility will boast three gymnasiums – one dedicated for basketball and volleyball competition (named “Holden Court” in honor of legendary women’s basketball coach Cheryl Holden), one for athletic team practice and one available for general use fitness and recreation.
