Continuing Education

Never stop learning

Learning never stops at Columbia Basin College

At CBC, you can continue your education by participating in one of our many continuing and community education courses. We offer both credit and non-credit courses in a variety of areas. What are you waiting for? Explore the exciting opportunities available to you!

Traffic Control

CBC offers the Evergreen Flagger Training Certification program, which is the premier flagger course in Washington state. It meets Department of Labor & Industries requirements for Washington state, and the earned flagger card is accepted in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

CPR and First Aid Training

If you are a healthcare provider that needs CPR training, you have come to the right place! CBC also offers CPR and First Aid training for non-healthcare providers. These courses are a combination of online and in-person instruction.

Forklift Operations Safety Training

This training is based on the federal regulations set out by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the Code of Federal Regulations. This class provides all the necessary classroom and practical (hands-on) training required by OSHA, giving an operator safety card which is valid for 3 years.

Welding Booth Time

This non-instructional course provides a 10-hour or 20-hour rental of welding booth anytime during the listed dates and times. This is primarily for tradespeople who need a place to brush-up on their skills and practice at their own pace.

We are always looking to expand our continuing and community education opportunities. Check back periodically to see what new courses are available!
