Pasco, Wash. – Beginning Wednesday, October 14, construction activity will force the closure of portions of campus roadways at the south end of Columbia Basin College’s Pasco Campus.

There is no end date set for this closure. It is expected to last several weeks. With the College operating mostly remotely, there are few significant impacts expected for faculty, staff, students, or the general public. This closure is not expected to impact travel on arterials surrounding campus, including 20th Ave. or Argent Way.

This work will clear the way for construction of CBC’s new 80,000 sq. ft. Student Recreation Center (SRC). This project will provide students with extensive gym space, multi-purpose educational spaces, a fitness center and eSports facilities.

The SRC project is being executed by Lydig Construction and RGU Architecture.
