CBC Hosting Virtual Celebration Honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

PASCO, Wash. – Columbia Basin College (CBC)’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration will be held virtually this year on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 8 am. The virtual celebration will consist of a video, which will be accessible from CBC’s website homepage (under Campus highlights) and YouTube and Facebook pages.

The video will include a musical performance by Isaiah Williams (a local musician), interviews with past Spirit Award winners, a presentation by the nominator and winner of the 2021 Spirit Award and more!

CBC will also be hosting a Drive-Thru Mobile Market, in partnership with 2nd Harvest, on Monday, January 18 at 10 am, on their Pasco campus where they will distribute over 200 boxes of food to those facing food insecurity. The event is open to the public, with no appointment or documentation required. The event will take place in the H Building parking lot off Argent Rd. and Saraceno Way.
