Graduates of the Digital Marketing program at CBC are equipped to pursue a wide variety of career roles including:

  • 1. Marketing Research Analyst

    In this position, you would study consumer preferences, business conditions, competitors, and methods of marketing and distribution to assess potential sales of a product or service in local, regional, national, or online markets. Marketing Research Analysts develop recommendations to increase search engine ranking and visibility to target markets.

  • 2. Digital Marketing Specialist

    In this position, you would help build strategies, implement and execute all digital marketing tactics and will provide measurable results. You would create and track digital advertising and social media campaigns using optimization tools and analyze performance data. Digital Marketing Specialists typically work collaboratively with a digital team to ensure that marketing plans are executed.

  • 3. Digital Marketing Manager

    In this position, you would plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered, develop pricing strategies and identifying potential customers. You may oversee website maintenance, email marketing, social media platforms and product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. The Digital Marketing Manager would work collaboratively with the marketing and digital teams and manage others to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role.

  • 4. Digital Marketing Coordinator

    In this position, you would assist in strategizing the overall digital marketing plan of a brand or company. This may include website creation, event marketing, direct marketing or media management. Digital Marketing Coordinators provide creative materials during content development or help with data verification and digital advertising placement.

  • 5. Social Media Specialist

    In this position, you would be responsible for creating and sharing content on an organization's social media platforms to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. You may also monitor site analytics, programmatic buying, respond to reader comments, and oversee the creative design. Social Media Specialists typically work collaboratively with a Marketing Manager and a digital team.

  • 6. Social Media Manager

    In this position, you would be responsible for managing and overseeing a company's content strategies on all social media platforms. This would include delegating content creation, analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online and increase positive brand awareness. The Social Media Manager would set performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and study which aspects of the campaigns result in the highest engagement and conversions.
