The Agriculture program at CBC is designed to focus on research and development, outreach, and
education that will prepare an ag-ready workforce. Courses shaped by local industry leaders, provide students with a deeper understanding of the science of modern agriculture, and the food and fiber industry.

Mission Statement
Columbia Basin College’s Agriculture program exists in an environment of currency and trust that:
- provides science and business-based educational opportunities for students from Benton and Franklin Counties and the surrounding region
- targets research and development initiatives for the Pacific Northwest agricultural community, and
- provides outreach that strengthens the role of the agriculture industry as a critical element of Washington’s economy.
