Arts, Humanities & Communication

Noriko Ryder

Adjunct Instructor

I came from Sapporo, Japan when I was 19 years old. I was fascinated about America and wanted to speak English fluently.

I earned an Associate of Arts degree at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake and then transferred to Washington State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. My passion in teaching Japanese is for the moments when students experience the successful click in their minds and think, “Ah, ha!” and are able to speak and enjoy Japanese culture.
