I have been a Senior Associate Faculty member of the Counseling and Advising Center for 30 years. It has been such a pleasure to have helped so many students over my career with advising, career planning, personal counseling, as well as teaching many Human Development and English as a Second language classes. In addition to serving students, I have put on numerous workshops over the years pertaining to mental health to finding your career passions as well as bringing in guest speakers. My love of learning is continuous and I try to learn something new every day, especially from my students. I enjoy reading, cycling, Taekwondo, international traveling and going to the coast. I have been a past member of the National Council of Student Development (NCDA), National Career Global Development Association (NCGDA), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). At the recent fall In Service, I was honored by a former student Michelle Whitney who is now the Superintendent of the Pasco School District. I am a very proud parent of my daughter Emma and have been married to my husband Thomas for the past 30+ years. I have served and or chaired on numerous on-campus or community committees including 10 years on the Pasco-Franklin County housing authority, Faculty Senate, TROC, peer, Teaching and Learning, Reinstatement, Faculty Affairs, and the Promotion Advisory committees.
