Licensure for Professional Technical Programs

Professional Licensures

Does this Program Meet Requirements for Licensure in my State?

Columbia Basin College offers several programs leading to a professional licensure within the state of Washington. Each state, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. protectorates vary in what professions they require to be licensed and the educational requirements for those licenses. It’s important to understand whether the degree or certificate you obtain from CBC will meet the educational eligibility requirements for a license in the state in which you plan to practice.

Potential Changes to Requirements

Licensure requirements in each state are subject to change. CBC will update the status for a state whenever we learn about a change and students in that program and state will be alerted. All information will be reviewed annually.

Relocating During the Course of the Program

Relocating to another state during the course of the program could impact whether the degree you obtain from CBC will meet the educational requirements for licensure. If you do move to another state, be sure to update your information in the student information system and let the contact person for your program know so they can help determine the state’s requirements.
