Request an Item from CBC Library
When you use this form, we’ll do the following:
- Check to see if we already own the item
- If we do, we’ll put it on hold!
- Some items, like laptops and course reserves, can’t be placed on hold, but we’ll still reach out to let you know next steps
- Determine if we should purchase the item for our collections
- We prioritize purchasing digital copies of books, so please let us know if you need to have print and why
- Decide if it’s better to borrow temporarily from another library (this is called Interlibrary Loan)
- If we can’t find it or don’t buy it, we’ll identify other items that might work for you
