Angela Johnson

Associate Professor of BAS Teacher Education

I teach courses on education, more specifically in the teaching preparation program for both Bachelor of Applied Science in Teacher Education and the Early childhood Education Programs. I earned my National Boards Certification also in the area of literacy, which makes me an expert on literacy methods, pedagogy and theory of language learning. In addition, I have recently earned a K-12 Principal Certification through Heritage University.

My area of expertise and research interests are: culturally diverse bilingual education courses, language acquisition, bilingual methods, literacy and bilingual literacy.
