Celebrate Black History Month through an exploration of art with activities inspired by the works of Kimmy Cantrell, Kara Walker and Alma Thomas.

Dive into the asymmetrical sculptures of Kimmy Cantrell by doing a hands-on cardboard sculpting workshop.

Then, channel the powerful narratives of Kara Walker’s silhouette art by creating your own silhouette masterpiece.

And finally, embrace the abstract brilliance of Alma Thomas by joining a painting session focusing on bold colors and geometric shapes.

All sessions will be held in the ASC, room T433, and will be drop-in as supplies last.
