Please plan to join us for the Employee Recognition Drive-Thru Event!

Who: Faculty (Full-time and Adjunct), Administrative/Exempt, Classified and Temporary Hourly Staff

When: 10 am to Noon – Friday, May 14, 2021

Where: H-Building Parking Lot

We’ll have available for your pick up a CBC logo polo shirt or a CBC logo backpack! If you didn’t pre-order an order, you can still participate! There are additional backpacks available for pick up for those who didn’t order one. There is a limit of one item, either polo shirt or backpack, and though we love to accommodate switch outs and size exchanges, we are only able to provide the polo or backpack ordered for you. For those of you who ordered an item and cannot attend, we will send out a notification after Friday with details of where/when/how long the items can be picked up! 

There are other items as well, including a CBC Work From Anywhere Kit! The kits include CBC blue light glasses, screen cleaner kit, stapler/post-it note kit, web cam cover, flash drive, highlighter, hand sanitizer and more! We have goodie bags for children and dogs in the vehicle. The CBC Foundation staff has some goodies of their own! And finally, a Kona Ice Truck will be part of our line-up with 3 select flavors of Shaved Ice for employees and those in the vehicle!   CBC’s Mascot Thunder will make a showing during the event as well!

We’re attempting to keep the Drive-Thru traffic going in one direction with one entrance and multiple exits. We really need to avoid having traffic backed up on the city streets, which is the reason for the long loop around the I/N/C complex. Please help us by following the direction of security and staff who are working the event and stay in your vehicle. We are so excited to see you, but we’ll be following COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe while still feeling celebrated! Please come thru the event only one time and of course, without knowing how many employees (children and furry friends) may participate, we hope to have enough, but there is no guarantee.   

Please join us in supporting CBC’s Food Pantry during this event! We will have bins available and staff accepting any donations to support our students in need, including:    

• Snack food Items (Crackers, chips, protein bars, etc.)
• Dry goods (Pasta, cereal, rice, mac and cheese, etc.)
• Canned food Items
• Bread
• Hygiene products (Toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)
• Reusable bags or 2^nd hand plastic grocery bags
