Cyber Security Advisory Board

The Computer Science department has high-quality and supportive Advisory Board members who provide relevant industry leadership. The Advisory board helps the department identify program needs related to standards and curriculum, equipment and supplies, and facilities.

Advisory Committee Meetings

Advisory committees must meet a minimum of two (2) times each instructional year. A minimum of three (3) or even four (4) meetings per year is highly recommended for good continuity and support of the respective program. A good practice is to set tentative meetings dates for the year. Because the frequency of meetings is determined largely by the scope of the committee’s program of work, some committees may choose to meet more frequently.

The Advisory Board members come from the following local organizations:

  • Pacific Northwest Laboratory
  • Gesa Credit Union
  • Hapo Credit Union
  • Pay Plus Benefits
  • Mission Support Alliance
  • Benton PUD
  • Columbia Basin College
