PASCO, Wash. — Columbia Basin College celebrated its Class of 2021 with a unique two-day drive-thru commencement ceremony on its Pasco Campus Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19.

This class includes 1,524 honorees, including: 1,296 Associate Degree recipients, 168 Bachelor Degree recipients, and 60 One-Year Certificate recipients.

This is the largest number of Applied Bachelor Degrees in the college’s history (168). The previous high was 145 in 2019.

The celebration was a drive-thru event on the college's Pasco campus. The college selected a lengthy, two-day celebration to allow all graduates the ability to exit their vehicles and receive recognition on-stage, and take photographs safely with their families.

About 600 graduates and their families took part in the two-day celebration.

Everyone can view CBC’s Virtual Celebration on the CBC YouTube page.
