Repair Request

We appreciate our automotive students having the opportunity to practice their skills in a simulated automotive shop environment. All work is supervised by an A.S.E. certified faculty member.

To request a vehicle repair, please read the following information and fill out the form below.

The vehicle repair we offer depends on what our students are learning in their automotive classes at the time of the request.  

  • Fall Quarter (Oct-Nov)

    Preventative Maintenance: fluids, tires

  • Winter Quarter (Jan-March)

    Preventative Maintenance: fluids, tires (afternoons)
    Electrical (mornings)

  • Spring Quarter (April-May)

    Brakes (April)
    Drivability: diagnostic, check engine light (April)
    Suspension and Steering (May)
    Heating and Air-Conditioning (May)

  • Summer Quarter (July-mid August)

    Brakes
    Suspension and Steering

Please note, we do NOT offer bodywork, paint work, or engine swaps.

We offer full repairs with minimal parts and labor charges, including taxes, shop supplies, and hazard disposal fees. Customers are also allowed to order their own parts.  

At your drop off appointment, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver before repairs can begin.

I hereby release and hold harmless Columbia Basin College personnel and students of any liability in connection with the repair work performed on my vehicle. It is understood there is no guarantee or warranty on the work performed as it is part of the instructional program with the work being performed by students in that program. Also, I authorize my vehicle to be test driven by the instructor or a student that the instructor has authorized. I further understand that Columbia Basin College is in no way responsible for any type of damage to or theft of or loss of any item(s) from my vehicle. Any items of value should be removed from your vehicle prior to being left for repair.

I agree to pay the automotive repair bill upon completion of work requested.
