The following list shows states and territories that CBC’s Teacher Education program either meets or does not meet their educational requirements for licensure. States or territories that we have not made a determination on are not listed.

Idaho
Students who wish to teach in Idaho can complete CBC's program for Washington state
certification, obtain that certification, and then apply to Idaho as an out of state
applicant. More information in on Idaho’s website. Students who are interested in
working in Idaho should contact the Professional Standards Commission and/or the CBC program contact.
Oregon
Students who wish to teach in Oregon can complete CBC's program for Washington State
certification, obtain that certification, and then apply to Oregon as an out-of-state applicant. Oregon has a Reciprocal Teaching License, which if obtained, gives out-of-state
certificate holders a year, while teaching, to complete the rest of their requirements.

Texas
Columbia Basin College has determined that this program does not directly meets the
educational requirements for licensure in Texas. Texas will perform a review for those
who are certified outside the state which will cost additional money. Students who
are interested in working in Texas should contact the Texas Education Agency and/or the CBC program contact.
