I specialize in teaching World and East Asian history courses. Occasionally, I am given the opportunity to teach something exotic like Modern US but most of my courses are about the medieval and ancient world. My academic specialty is ancient frontier zones with an emphasis on nomadic cultures of the Eurasian grasslands.
My courses emphasize reading, evidence-based analysis, persuasive writing, and interactive discussions.
