A key component of CTE Dual Credit is program articulation; a planned process linking educational institutions and curriculum to assist students in making a smooth transition from secondary to postsecondary education in a professional technical field. Developing an articulation can be an easy and enjoyable process that encourages building strong relationships between secondary CTE teachers and college faculty to ensure the alignment of curriculum and program objectives.
Articulation Request Process:
A request for articulation begins with the high school instructor's initiative:
Program articulation agreements are regularly reviewed and updated by college faculty and the CTE directors and/or high school teachers on a predetermined schedule, not to exceed a three-year rotation, or as deemed necessary due to changes in the college course content, structure, or faculty.
