Taking advantage of the opportunity to register for CTE Dual Credit while enrolled in Career and Technical Education classes with an approved articulation agreement, reduces time and tuition costs for a student's college education. Students are encouraged to contact their high school counselor or career specialist to determine CTE Dual Credit classes offered at their high school and/or reference their high school course catalog or handbook.
To earn college credit for a CTE Dual Credit approved class, high school students must:
Students who meet all eligibility requirements will receive a congratulatory letter with notification of their CBC student identification number. Students who earned CTE Dual credits will have their college credit transcribed the summer following their academic year of enrollment and posted to their college transcript by September 1. High school students registered in the Student Enrollment Reporting System (SERS) for CTE Dual Credit will follow CBC student policies for transcription of credit. Credit and/or grades will not be removed once they have been transcribed.
