Responding to industry need, Columbia Basin College offers a new Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Health Physics to enhance the Hanford workforce pipeline.
The new four-year degree will build upon skills and knowledge included in the college’s existing Associate in Applied Science in Nuclear Technology - Radiation Protection Technician program. The program was developed with students in mind:
The program will be cohort based, new students will start fall quarter. The maximum cohort enrollment is 20 students. Applications are due May 15, 2020. Complete applications will require the CBC BASHP application, a resume, college transcripts and verification of all prerequisite classes. Acceptance notifications will be sent by May 29, 2020.
