To prepare competent entry-level central service technicians for employment in the field and professional credentialing through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM), the Healthcare Central Service Technology Program challenges students to develop their abilities in the following learning domains: cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior).
Clinical requirements are the competencies required during clinical rotations in the healthcare setting. These requirements are necessary in order to graduate from the CBC Healthcare Central Service Technology program.
Clinical experiential hours must be performed as follows. A total of 400 hours are required.
