Students enrolled in 7 or more credits:
- Tuition and fees are paid directly to school based on eligibility determined by DVA
- Monthly stipend equal to BAH for E-5 with dependents--$1,460 based on CBC zip code (prorated if less than 12 cr.)
- Annual book stipend of $1,000

Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is the safest and fastest way to receive your VA Education Benefits. You may request direct deposit by calling 1-877-838-2778. Be sure to provide your financial institution's routing number, your account number and type of account (checking or savings). Chapter 35 students are not eligible to use direct deposit.
