Students who have passed college level English or math classes may submit an official transcript to Admissions for evaluation to waive the testing requirements.
What do I need to do to take the placement
test?
1. A CBC admission application must be submitted prior to taking
the ASSET/COMPASS.
2. Stop by the Assessment Center in the HUB or call (509) 547-0511
Ext. 2370 or Ext. 2349 to schedule an appointment for the ASSET/COMPASS.

your student I. D.
3. Pay an assessment fee to the cashier. (Fees will be collected
by test center staff during the testing session for large testing
sessions and off-campus testing sessions only. For those sessions
you will need to bring exact change, check or money order to CBC.)
4. Bring your receipt (or exact change, when appropriate), photo
identification and two sharpened #2 pencils with you to the testing
session.
5. If you think you need accommodations due to a disability, contact
