Applying for College

Columbia Basin College is an open enrollment institution. This means that we grant admissions to anyone who is 18 years of age and/or who has graduated from an accredited high school or who has earned a GED certificate.

Home school students or students who have graduated from a non-accredited high school are admitted based on their ASSET/Compass placement scores.

Admission to CBC does not guarantee admission to all degree or certificate programs. Some programs, like Nursing and Dental Hygiene, have special applications and admission procedures. Consult the CBC catalog for details.
