Information Sessions
Please take the time to attend one of the Nursing Assistant information sessions. Your questions will be answered by a program representative. Anyone interested in a CBC health science program should attend. These sessions are free and open to the public. Students' friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Application Process
To apply for this program print the Certified Nursing Assistant application, fill it out, and return it to the Health Science Center in Richland by the date stated on the application. This course is offered each fall, winter, and spring quarter. Due dates are listed in the application materials. Late applications will not be considered.
Applicants are required to provide a copy of the following documentation:
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider HCP with CPR/AED
- Current First Aid card
- Letter of reference addressing your work or study habits
Accepted Applicant Requirements
Accepted students will receive a letter after the applications are reviewed by the program director. Accepted students are expected to submit a national background history check by the College-approved vendor before the start of the quarter.
Proof of valid and current immunization records will be submitted to the Health Science Center office before clinical hours are scheduled.
Funding Source
Students eligible for the Opportunity Grant may receive funds to cover tuition/mandatory fees and up to $1,000 for books and supplies for 45 college credits.
