Joey Graham enters his first year at the helm of the men's soccer program at Columbia Basin College.
A Pasco native, Graham was a three-time All-Conference player at Pasco High School, leading the Bulldogs to the 4A State Championship in 1998.
Following a stellar career at Pasco, Graham took his talents to Concordia University (Portland, OR.), where he led the team in scoring as a freshman. His college pursuits interrupted, Graham found himself a home as a sophomore at Whatcom CC in Bellingham.
As a sophomore in 2006, Graham led his team to the NWAC Championship, earning All-Conference and All-Division Honors. He was a unanimous selection for the NWAC All-Star Team.
Returning to Concordia for his final two years, Graham helped lead the team to two NAIA Region I Championship appearances, as well as a Sweet 16 appearance in the national tournament. Leading his team in scoring for a second time, Graham was again recognized as an All-Conference selection, while being named Offensive Player of the Year in 2007.
Having played for multiple semi-professional teams in the Pacific Northwest, Graham has also traveled internationally, competing in many different countries throughout his playing career. He continues to compete in multiple adult recreational leagues in the Tri-Cities.
Joey Graham wants to share his knowledge and experience to build CBC student-athletes into players of exceptional character and ability. His goal is to build a sense of pride and community within the program, while building one of the top programs in the Northwest Athletic Conference.
Bryce Wagar enters his first year as an assistant coach for the CBC Hawks. A local soccer standout, the Kennewick native has played competitive soccer for 30 years.
Serving as team captain, while being named Team MVP, Wagar was selected First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area at Kennewick High School. He earned four varsity letters for soccer.
In addition to his accolades at KHS, Wagar led his club team to State Championships twice while in high school. After a standout high school career, Wagar played collegiately at both BYU-Hawaii and Columbia Basin College.
Coach Wagar brings 13 years of recreational, club, and high school coaching experience to the CBC coaching staff. Locally, Bryce served as Head Coach for the Kennewick High School girl's program, as well as holding the same position with the Kamiakin boy's JV program. He has also served as an Assistant Coach with the Kamiakin High School boy's varsity. Additional coaching stops have seen him involved with the Spokane Soccer Association, as well as with Three Rivers Soccer Association.
Bryce currently resides in Kennewick with his wife and three children. He continues to play in the local adult leagues and loves to learn, teach, and further the game of soccer in our community.
