
The Nuclear Technology program is a two-year Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree program. There are currently three degree options*:

General Education Courses
Prospective students are encouraged to complete Nuclear Technology general education courses, prior to applying to the program. These courses provide points towards program entry. General education courses that may be completed prior to entry include the following:
- English Composition, ENGL& 101
- Technical Writing, ENGL& 235
- Pre-Calculus l, MATH& 141
- Pre-Calculus ll, MATH& 142
- Introduction to Statistics, MATH& 146
- General Psychology, PSYC& 100
- General Physics I w/ Lab, PHYS& 134/124 or
- Engineering Physics I w/ Lab, PHYS& 241/231
- General Chemistry Prep w/ Lab, CHEM& 140
- Communication Studies: CMST 101, or 103, or 110, or 210, or 220, or 260
- Human Biology w/ Lab, BIOL& 175 (RPT ONLY)
Major Support and Major Courses
Only students who have been accepted into the Nuclear Technology (NT) program may enroll in NT support and major courses.
