Career Pathways Information

Students are encouraged early in their education to begin planning for careers in their high school education and develop a plan for beyond. Community colleges, primary and secondary schools, workforce and economic development agencies, employers, labor groups, and social service providers are partnering to develop initiatives that assist students in building their future career pathways. Career pathways are an intended to provided an integrated collection of programs and services for the development of a student's core academic, technical, and employability skills; provide them with education and training; and place them in high-demand, high-opportunity jobs.
