Annual Giving is our recurring organized effort to build relations and raise funds from alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and parents for student scholarships and department programs.
- Fund drives usually occur semi-annually
- Donors can make unrestricted or restricted gifts
- Techniques range from direct mail solicitations to personal meetings
In addition to cultivating friendships and raising much needed funds, annual giving campaigns are also used:
- To build a larger and more diverse base of donors
- To bond an existing constituency to the Foundation
- To promote community giving habits
- To enable donors to support educational causes in which they believe
