WHAT YOU NEED
Since this show is a jukebox musical of hits by the pop group ABBA, please prepare 16 bars or up to 1 minute of a musical theatre or pop song that best demonstrates your vocal abilities in that style. Please do NOT sing one of the songs from the show, but feel free to select a song by a similar artist/band from the early 1970s to early 1980s (Bananarama, Cher, Bee Gees, Olivia Newton John, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, etc) You may use an accompanied background track for your audition if it does not contain any vocals. Or bring sheet music, as there will be an accompanist available. Wear appropriate foot ware and clothing to move in.
CHORUS Consists of the ISLANDERS who work at DONNA’S & WEDDING GUESTS who sing great songs! The Ensemble will require strong singers since many musical numbers are written for SATB four part harmony.
*The ages are as presented in the script, not in concrete.

Sophia Sheridan is 20 years old and lives with her mother Donna on an idyllic Greek island. She is about to be married and wishes for only one thing: that her father walk her down the aisle and give her away. The only problem is that she doesn't know who her father is and her mother won't discuss it with her. After she finds her mom's diary from the year she was born, she invites three men who could possibly be that man. Sophie is convinced that she will know her father as soon as she sees him but soon realizes that she hasn't a clue. Mayhem ensues when her mother is displeased and confused that the three are there, the men all think they're the father and her fiancé is getting fed up with the whole mess. Come watch as ABBA's hits tell this hilarious story of A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
