- The CBC Library has study rooms available for the use of CBC students, staff, and faculty. All study room use must be scheduled with the library staff.
- Study rooms at the CBC Library are primarily for the use of groups of two or more. Only groups may reserve study rooms in advance. If the rooms are not in use groups are welcome to sign in on a first-come, first-served basis. Library staff may allow individuals to use a study room with the understanding that they may have to give up the room if needed by a group.
- Rooms may be scheduled for a maximum of two hours and thereafter extended at the discretion of the library staff. Any study room left vacant for more than ten minutes may be reassigned.
- To help ensure equitable access, group study rooms are reserved for student groups a week at a time, and each group is limited to two reservations per week. The new week starts on Monday, and rooms may be reserved for the following Monday on the last class day of the week. Reservations are accepted in person or by phone. If a group does not show within ten minutes of their scheduled time the reservation is canceled and another group will be allowed to use the room.
- All library policies and procedures remain in force in our study rooms, including our cell phone and food/drink policies. Study rooms are not sound proof; loud groups may be asked to leave.
