This program has a mandatory Medical Assistant information session requirement. Your questions will be answered by an Advisor/Counselor or a program representative. Anyone interested in a CBC Health Science program should attend. These sessions are free and open to the public. Students' friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

2015 Medical Assistant Program Application
The 2015 PDF for the Medical Assistant program application is now available. Click on the line above to open the application. Print, complete, and deliver your Program Application for consideration into the Fall 2015 cohort by the due date listed.
Medical Assistant applicants will be mailed a letter with the status of their application based upon their Index Score and ranking.
Accepted applicants' letter will include a mandatory orientation date listed in the letter. Accepted students are required to submit a national background search to the College-approved vendor. This background account must be initiated and paid for by the student online before registration is allowed. Details will be included with your letter.
Medical Assistant program applications are available each year, submit by the due date listed on the application. Selected applicants will begin classes in a designed quarter and are expected to complete four consecutive quarters in order to graduate. The link to "Courses" in the blue box contains the required course list.
Credential with WA State Department of Health
Upon successful completion of course work from the CBC Medical Assistant program, CBC graduates will have a comment posted at the bottom of their college transcript stating the degree or certificate earned.
New rules 2013 for Medical Assistants from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH), fees are $115 to be paid by the graduate.
Graduates of CBC Medical Assistant program qualify for examination with American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) to be nationally certified. Fees are additional and we encourage graduates to apply for testing shortly before completion of your last quarter clinical course. Cost is $125 if application is submitted within 12 months of graduation date.
