Gary Culbert

Gary Culbert has dedicated more than 50 years of service to Columbia Basin College and was instrumental in shaping workforce education in the Northwest. Gary was the first graduate of CBC to return to the College as a faculty member to teach in a department, Welding Technology, that was started by his father, Buzz Culbert. Gary served as a welding instructor, department chair, and dean, culminating his contributions to the community as a member of the CBC Board of Trustees from 2003-2009. The CBC Foundation named Gary Outstanding Alumnus of the year for 2007-2008. He joined the Foundation Board in 2010 and created the Culbert Family Endowed Scholarship.
