Information Sessions. Your questions will be answered by a program representative. Everyone interested in a CBC health Sciences program should attend. These sessions are free and open to the public. Students' friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Emergency Medical Technician Application 2013
Students interested in applying for the EMT course need to use the application materials link above, important details are included. Please note the due date.
The EMTapplication process is competitive. Students must submit an application with letters of recommendation, as well as participate in a assessment of applicants; criteria are teamwork, communication skills, reading, and comprehension skills.
Accepted students to EMT or paramedic, are required to complete a national background check, obtain specific immunizations, provide proof of a valid driver’s license, and agree to a specific code of ethics. Healthcare Provider training is completed within the program and is no longer a prerequisite to the course.
