Mobile Vending University
In addition to these options, during winter quarter 2016 CBC will offer Mobile Vending University in partnership with the Pasco Specialty Kitchen. This education series is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with real world strategies and best practices to start and grow a successful food truck business. The five core topics are licensing/permits, financing options and financials, operations, choosing a truck, and marketing. Subject matter experts in their respective fields offer tips and tricks of the trade to get up and running efficiently. Entrepreneurs will be able to streamline daily operations to maximize profitability including menu development, drafting a business plan including profit and loss statements, navigating the licensing and permit process, developing marketing strategies, and assessing which type of vehicle best fits their business needs. Those that complete the series will receive a certificate.
Location: Pasco Specialty Kitchen, 110 S. 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301.
Dates: Saturdays, 9am-1pm. January 23, 30; February 6, 13, and 20.
