The Dental Hygiene program is a two-year (seven quarter) associate degree program that requires full-time classroom and clinical instruction. This program has limited enrollment. The educational objective of the program is to prepare students who, upon graduation and successful completion of the National Board of Dental Hygiene (NBDH) and Western Regional Examination Boards (WREB) in Local Anesthesia, Restorative, and Clinical Dental Hygiene, will be able to license and practice Dental Hygiene in 35 states. The program in dental hygiene is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements."
