Spanish courses offer student-centered instruction that focuses on communicating effectively in Spanish, appreciating the Hispanic culture, and recognizing linguistic and cultural connections between the Spanish-speaking parts of the world and the United States. Native or partial native speakers are strongly encouraged to enroll in SPAN 205, SPAN 206, or SPAN 207.
