Ralph L. Rosselli was born in 1913 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents who emigrated from Italy. After high school, he went to work in the steel mills. His supervisor admired his intellect and work ethic and referred him to a friend who worked for the Internal Revenue Service. Ralph was hired as a GS-2 clerk, served a two-year stint in the U.S. Army and then resumed his federal career and retired in 1966 as the S-14 Chief of Classification, personnel Department, NASA Lewis Research Center in Cleveland, OH. He married his spouse, Carrie in 1937 and they enjoyed 67 years together before he passed in 2006.
Ralph was a self-educated person with a strong quest for learning, starting college late and graduating with a BA in business in 1962. A lifetime learner, Ralph was a businessperson by profession and a political scientist by avocation.
