Jack Wilcox graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in accounting and worked as a Special Agent in Charge for the FBI in a number of US cities. Jack passed away in 2004. His wife, Margaret, graduated from the University of Oklahoma and worked for the FBI until her children, Dana and Mark arrived. Educational advocates, the couple opened their home to a number of college foreign exchange students over the years and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2000 to be close to their daughter, Dana. Margaret passed in 2005.
Gary and Dana Wilcox Crutchfield moved to the Tri-Cities in 1978. Dana graduated from the Nursing program at CBC. She has worked for many years in the emergency room at Lourdes Medical Center. Gary has served as city manager for Pasco for over 20 years.
Because they believe in quality education and giving back to their community, Dana, Gary, and Margaret established the Wilcox-Crutchfield Nursing Scholarship fund in 2004. They hoped the students assisted by these scholarships would actively participate in the delivery of quality healthcare to present and future generations of Tri-Citians.
