Members of the Wanapum Native American tribe from the Priest Rapids Indian Village will perform traditional tribal dances at Columbia Basin College on Monday as part of Native American Heritage Month. Their performance will be at 10:30 a.m. in the CBC HUB.
Dances will include the traditional round bustle prairie chicken dance, contemporary prairie chicken dance and the traditional northern straight dance.
The dancers are members of the Priest Rapids community, and promote and educate people about Native American culture and celebrate Native American Heritage Month.
