Seattle-based design studio, Cognition, will feature 34 digital works as the next exhibit at Esvelt Gallery on the Columbia Basin College Pasco campus.
Titled, "code *assemblages of knowledge transfer", the exhibit will show the works of Cognition's co-founders, David Ehlert and Kristine Johnson.
Code is the means by which information can be stored/transferred/communicated from one form into another. The studio uses code to educate and create knowledge transfer through visual solutions. The Ehlert and Johnson images are case examples of their code represented through graphic design, information design, and medical illustration. The work was produced for the biomedical and life sciences community.
The exhibit runs November 5 - December 8 with a reception and artists' talk on November 8 at 2 p.m. in Esvelt Gallery.
