An introduction to the Angel learning management system (LMS) used for online and hybrid courses and support of face-to-face courses at CBC is offered during the first week of each quarter. Participants learn essential skills for survival in any Angel class. One of the most common reasons that students drop out of distance classes is the inability to use the technology correctly; new students are strongly encouraged to attend a session. Please sign up for a session.
Students can also learn about Angel through the Week Zero tutorial. To get to the tutorial, log on to Angel using the username: CBCguest and the password: guest; then click on the "Week Zero - Getting Started with Angel" link in the "Courses" box (note that you will have to log out and log back in with your student information to access your classes, return to CBC Angel directly or through the My CBC Kiosk - more logon info).
Note: There may be a few courses in other systems, especially math courses using MyMathLab. Be sure to check with your instructor if you have any questions.
Orientations are usually on the first two days of the quarter in 6-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. sessions.
