Women's Soccer
Columbia Basin College women's soccer coach Matt Mills recently recognized sophomore captain Bree Frazier for her contributions on and off the field for the month of September. Bree currently holds a 3.93 cumulative GPA and Was recently selected to the NWAACC All-Academic Team for the fall quarter.
Frazier has started every match for the Hawks this season and is an integral member of CBC's resolute defensive midfield that continues to strengthen with each contest.
Bree hails from Richland High School. She brings a positive attitude and stellar work ethic to the women's soccer program.
Volleyball 
CBC volleyball coach Mike Baker recently announced Samantha Brewer as the volleyball Athlete of the Month for September. Brewer, a sophomore who was injured last season, has come back strong in September. Her hard work last winter and spring helped her prepare for this season.
Brewer's contributions include leading the team in hitting while contributing 2.4 kills per set. She also puts down 1.3 blocks per set for the Hawks. She continues to shine off the court as well where her 3.25 cumulative GPA earned her a place on the NWAACC All-Academic Team for fall quarter.
Brewer has started every set for the Hawks this season and is an integral member of CBC's attack offense. She brings a positive attitude and solid work ethic to the court each and every time she plays.
Men's Soccer 
Columbia Basin College men's soccer coach Kyle Vierck recently announced freshman forward Danny Hernandez has been recognized as the men's soccer Athlete of the Month for September.
Hernandez played virtually every minute of every contest in September, logging time at six different positions.
The Selah, Washington native has played a vital role while leading the team to a current second place slot in the East Region standings.
