What is Upward Bound?
The mission of CBC's Upward Bound is to academically prepare low-income high school students to become first-generation graduates of post-secondary programs. Upward Bound students participate in both summer and academic-year programs. After graduation from high school, students are eligible to enroll in the "BRIDGES" program for their first summer of college course work.

Who is Eligible?
Students are eligible if:
- They are potential first-generation college graduates
- They are attending one of the target schools
- Their family income meets federal guidelines
- They are in the ninth or tenth grade
- They received no F's on their last semester's grades
- They have a strong desire for a college degree
