Columbia Basin College was established in 1955 to serve the needs of Benton and Franklin counties. CBC is a comprehensive two-year institution with strong programs in academic, pre-professional, technical, vocational, and community service offerings. The main campus is located to the north of Pasco on beautifully landscaped grounds. The area highways and uncrowded urban arterials allow employees to arrive on campus within 15 to 20 minutes from most of the surrounding communities.

The combined day and evening annualized enrollment average is 9,000 students with an approximate full-time equivalency of 5,126.
