The Health Sciences Division of Columbia Basin College is home to the Health Sciences programs, such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Paramedic, Fire Science, and Medical Assistant programs. The Division office is located in the Health Science Center at CBC's Richland Campus.
The staff and faculty within the Health Sciences Division are focused on providing high quality didactic and experiential learning opportunities to students that allow them to enter their career field with contemporary perspectives and skills.
The Division office is frequently the first point of contact for new students. The Division office also provides such services to students as program admissions assistance, criminal background checks, and health immunization information.
The Division continually seeks to expand the variety of program offerings to assist in filling identified healthcare worker gaps experienced by our community and beyond.
The Health Sciences Division is associated with over 35 clinical facilities throughout the Benton and Franklin County area. Students in each of the Health Sciences programs gain valuable experience and help build professional associations with the healthcare community through their clinical site placements.
