Hiring Individuals with disabilities Ready for Employment

Do you have a physical, learning, medical, or psychological condition that has been a barrier to finding employment?

Are you looking for…

  • A full-time job with benefits?
  • A job earning mid-to-high wages?
  • Employment in a high-demand occupation?

Project H.I.R.E. can help! We provide FREE employment services for those with a documented disability. Some examples include attention deficit disorder, diabetes, bipolar, dyslexia, hearing loss, post traumatic stress syndrome, visual impairment, fibromyalgia, Crohn's disease, back or knee injury, or other chronic health conditions.

Services:

  • Job search preparation & support
  • Arrangement & scheduling of job interviews
  • Resume development & interview practice
  • Providing or arranging short-term vocational training to upgrade existing skills

Let us market you to prospective employers!

Each recipient must apply for and be determined eligible for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) services. A DVR individualized Plan for Employment must be developed and agreed upon.

For more information or to schedule an orientation, call the Columbia Basin College Student Employment office at 542-4875.
